Fried Fish Platter With Dips Recipe

Servings: Serves 4-6
Prep Time: 5-10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15-20 minutes
Check the cooking directions on the packages of frozen seafood and look for those with cooking temperatures and times that are more or less the same, which will simplify the cooking process! If temperatures do vary, set the oven at the higher temperature or at a temperature halfway between those directed. Kids can mix up the cocktail sauce and tartar sauce. Parents should make the sweet and sour sauce.

Half of an 8 oz. box frozen popcorn shrimp
Half of a 6 oz. box frozen clams
12 fish sticks
Lemon wedges
Tartar sauce
Red cocktail sauce
Sweet and sour sauce

Start Cooking

Step 1
Arrange two oven racks close together in the bottom third of the oven.

Step 2
Preheat the oven to the temperature indicated on the packages.

Step 3
Arrange the seafood on one or two baking trays. Seafood that is cooked longest goes in first. Keep track of cooking time carefully. Turn pieces and remove them as necessary, following package instructions.

Step 4
As the seafood becomes ready, arrange the cooked pieces in a shallow bowl lined with a paper napkin. Make sure all pieces are slightly cooled before serving.
